Two dance music legends have teamed up. That’s right, A-Trak and Baauer have collaborated on new music and we, frankly, couldn’t be more excited.
The duo dropped two new tracks entitled ‘Fern Gully’ and ‘Dumbo Drop’ via A-Trak’s label Fools Gold Records. This is the first time the artists have joined forces.
Dance music can be stale and predictable, which is why we appreciate when artists decide to step outside of the box and deliver us something fresh. A-Trak and Baauer describe their collaboration as “an explosion of creativity and quirky ideas.” The resulting tracks are definitely unexpected, but impressive.
Their goal of making club music outside of the norm was a success. ‘Fern Gully’ is a bouncy house-like tune, while ‘Dumbo Drop’ is a bit more experimental with metallic-sounding elements. Both songs are energetic and sure to get people dancing.
The two tracks come with the announcement of a special A-Trak b2b Baauer tour visiting select cities around the US.
