The day we have all been anticipating for well over a year is finally here. Above & Beyond‘s fourth studio album, “Common Ground”, has officially been released on the trio’s own Anjunabeats label.

The English trance group comprised of Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamäki is known for producing music that brings people together. Their music brings fans to tears, and you can often see attendees of their live shows hugging, laughing, and crying, all at the same time.

McGuinness says that “Common Ground”, much like their previous albums, “Group Therapy and “We Are All We Need“, features songs written about life. Their songs aren’t necessarily the typical party music associated with the electronic dance genre, and that is why we love them.

Listening to this album all the way through gave us all of the “feels” for nearly a full hour. It features 8 brand new tracks and 5 previously released singles. And if that wasn’t enough, on #ASOT850 yesterday, Jono Grant revealed that A&B actually made 30 additional songs in the process of creating “Common Ground”.

Grant even added, “We got quite a bit to release still”. Best news ever! In addition to the beautiful album that is “Common Ground”, fans can look forward to hearing even more music in the (hopefully) near future.

Above & Beyond will also premiere their documentary, “Above & Beyond Acoustic: Giving Up The Day Job” in New York City on January 30th at Chelsea Cinepolis with a Q&A following the screening. The film follows their 2016 tour for “Acoustic II“, which is the second acoustic album released by the group.

We can’t wait to hear all of their tracks live on the “Common Ground” tour. While the tour kicked off on December 29th at the Los Angeles Convention Center, the first full leg began yesterday in Philadelphia.

If you haven’t heard the album in its entirety, what are you waiting for? Give it a listen and soak up all of the feels!
