Heads up everyone, Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP) revealed their Phase 1 lineup and it includes top notch talent. The three headliners include The Weeknd, DJ Snake, and Alesso. They will play amongst the likes of Major Lazer, Porter Robinson, RL GRIME and Armin Van Buuren so get ready for a party like no other.
When we think of Indonesia we imagine beautiful, crystal blue waters and resting under the palms. Who knew that this island actually had almost a decade of dance music celebration under their belt as well? DWP is going all out this year for their 10th anniversary celebration as they appropriately title this rendition ‘DWPX‘. This event has undoubtedly solidified its status as the biggest dance music festival in Southeast Asia. Previously a two day event, it’s now being boosted to a three day event. This guarantees an amazing weekend from this first wave lineup.
Since its inception in 2008, organizer Ismaya Live has evolved DWP from underground raves into a much bigger dance music festival. This is an international brand that puts Indonesia firm on the festival map destination. Artists make their mark or even debut–like The Weeknd–here on their touring schedules.
From multi-Grammy winning artists to the #1 DJ of DJ Mag plus top charting music sensations, these artists are just the beginning of what else is to come. There is a wide variety of genres here but one theme: music is the answer.
