The City of Miami has unanimously voted down a contract for Ultra Music Festival to stay in Bayfront Park. With that being said, Ultra will not return to Bayfront Park in March 2019.
The @CityofMiami Commission has unanimously voted against the contract that would have kept Ultra Music Festival at Bayfront Park.

This decision comes down after residents of downtown complained about the noise and traffic the festival generates. Furthermore, Ultra Music Festival had to pay the City of Miami more than double the amount that it pays now in order to stage the 3-day concert. The city council apparently did not care about the economic benefits the festival brings, rather what a few residents felt.
Will Ultra Music Festival stay in Miami or seek a new home? Stay tuned on how this will unfold. Take a look at Ultra’s statement on the matter below.
