Amidst the chaos that descended upon New York City during Halloween weekend, there was one event that stood out the most. LA producer Dillon Francis, known for his comedic antics headlined Light & Life’s Halloween event with the help of Valentino Khan and the rising Nitti Gritti. Light & Life has only started to host events in NYC in the most recent years but has become one of forefront promoting companies due to their top-notch event production and the high profile acts that they are able to bring in. With such a stacked lineup, it was not surprising at all the event was sold out.

As the night began, ravers decked out in a variety of costumes ranging from cats, ninjas, pirates, and Marshmellos – just to name a few, excitedly shuffled into the Brooklyn Navy Yard venue. The cavernous warehouse space was dark and open befitting for the carnage to take place. Paired with numerous lasers and colorful LED lights, the overall atmosphere brought a spooky experience for all the party goers.

Nitti Gritti warmed up the night and quickly set the mood with a collection of his tracks, heavy hitting edits, and some filthy trap transitions. Once Valentino Khan entered the DJ booth, everyone was pumped and ready to party. His most popular songs ‘Pump’ and ‘Deep Down Low’ just have that effect to get the crown down and dirty.

By the time the clock hit 1:00 AM, it was time for Dillon to hit the decks. The venue was packed from wall to wall and everyone had been waiting for this moment the whole night. His set featured an onslaught of supercharged edits, cheeky transitions that made the crowd go ‘woah’, and groovy songs from his Spanish moombahton album ‘WUT WUT. The crowd was all smiles especially when he played songs such as ‘White Boi’. His performance was topped off with his hilarious visuals which made everyone there love him that much more since he is always doing comical things on social media.

Dillon Francis is currently on his North American Tour so check out if he is playing at a city near you here.
