After what feels like a lifetime, we have a sign that Swedish House Mafia may be ready to release one of their most talked about IDs . Shazam, one of our best tools to identify new or unknown music titles, has successfully identified Swedish House Mafia’s It Gets Better ID. The powerful ID has been used as Swedish House Mafia’s intro, ever since their comeback in Stockholm earlier this year.
If you don’t believe us, try it yourself. Open up the Shazam app and let it listen to the Soundcloud track below. Within seconds, Shazam is able to provide us the song’s title and artist! This update is a great sign that the track has been officially registered for release. We can’t say how soon but we can feel confident that the track’s title is finalized.
When we first heard the new intro song, Shazam wasn’t able to provide us the track name and attributed artist. Now, it only makes sense that the first ID they premiered with, is the first track to be released by the trio since 2012. At the moment, Shazam is still unable to provide us track information for the Underneath It All ID. We’ll keep trying over the next couple weeks but it’s likely SHM will release the tracks separately.
It’s safe to say that we are all hoping for a release before the end of 2019. For all we know, the track could be released as soon as next week or even next year. Until then, we’ll just have to stay patient, knowing new music is on the horizon.
