Members of the Alchemy Tour continue to converge beyond the tour having the track ‘First Time‘ remixed by NGHTMRE. The original production by Seven Lions, SLANDER and Dabin features Dylan Matthew‘s gripping vocals which are emphasized throughout the remix. Maintaining the emotive essence of the original, NGHTMRE puts his own distinct touch on the production. It’s only suitable that he’s on the remix duty considering the fact he shares the stage with SLANDER when presenting Gud Vibrations.
Kicking off with a gentle piano, the remix allows the lyrics and melody to take the spotlight. In continuation, the snappy percussive conjoins with the production building into an intermittent bright plucks. This all builds into the pitched vocal before the uplifting synthy chorus. Finally, everything accumulates to another build-up with a choppy sound which rests on the stripped outro.
