Pioneer is starting the new year off strong with a brand new sexy piece of hardware. The new DJM-V10 mixer from Pioneer DJ has 6 channels, master isolators, four band EQ, per-channel compression knobs and sends for each channel. This monster of a mixer was built to enable DJs to craft new soundscapes from multiple audio sources.

Pioneer is very excited about the launch of this new mixer. Speaking about how this model is new and improved, they said:

“Drastically change the sound of a track or make tiny adjustments using the newly developed filter with resonance control. Switch on high or low pass by pressing either button, then turn the knob from all the way to the left (no filter applied) to the furthest position on the right (maximum filter applied). Because the high and low pass are separated, the entire range of the knob is dedicated to the option you choose. This gives you twice the resolution to play with compared to the filter on the DJM-900NXS2.”

The six-channel DJM-V10 boasts two more channels than the company’s flagship NXS range. Furthermore it features a set of resembling analogue competitors like the MODEL 1 and Xone:96.

Forge a new sound with the DJM-V10; a new breed of mixer, born of fresh thinking. It allows the most creative DJs to craft original soundscapes, unlike many other mixers.

There’s a dual headphones option now for b2bs, with dedicated cue, mix and level options for each headphone port. It also has a booth EQ for helping shape the sound of the booth. The compressor knob on each channel is designed to boost ‘unmastered’ tracks or give a synth, sampler or drum machine some extra power to match up with mastered tracks. The 6-channel unit is loaded with unique features and produces a warm audio full of energy and presence.
