Nicky Romero is back! The Dutch DJ returned last weekend with a fresh new track titled ‘Burning’. One of progressive house’s top artists returns with a new release! Now, with this fresh new song, Nicky Romero brings a new sound into his latest work. ‘Burning’ was released through Romero’s label, Protocol Recordings.
Romero’s 2020 Is ‘Burning’!
‘Burning’, Nicky Romero’s newest track is certainly something else. A set of vocals that sounds, unlike anything the artist has put out before shines throughout the track. Australian singer Jordan Grace provides a set of vocals that reminds me of a very disco-ish style. Something you would see in a Duke Dumont track. Romero, however, manages to stamp his signature sound into this track in a perfect way. After getting lifted up by a heavy riser, we’re dropped into a progressive house fire drop! An amazing fusion, proving once again that Romero is fully able to take any genre and integrate his signature sound into it.
2020 has been a busy year for Nicky Romero. The artist has released numerous tracks on his own label. One thing we can reassure is that, whenever live events come back, we will experience a whole new chapter in Nicky Romero’s musical career. He’s teamed up with some big names for his last releases, such as Timmy Trumpet and Deniz Koyu. He’s also delivered a couple of astounding remixes. To top it all, he’s also been remixed by a couple of big artists. His track ‘Stay’ got a super juicy Dash Berlin’s remix, which, in my opinion, is one of the best of the year. So, yeah, a pretty decent year for Nicky Romero.
