Today, Spencer Brown announced a new collaboration with him and Tony from Above & Beyond. Fans have already begun expressing their excitement for their single titled ‘Santorini‘. We see its upcoming release on Wednesday on Anjunadeep Explorations 17. We’ll get more information on this soon. It’s always great to see more deep things from Spencer, and with Tony you know it’ll be great.
We previewed the track on Beatport, and it is a melodic progressive, ambient track with riveting synths. Spencer’s characteristic hypnotic sound emanates. While listening, it may put you on the waters of the Grecian coast. Its soundscape embodies the mood of the Cyclade island, where the melody flows like the Aegean Sea. Imagine the whitewashed, cubiform houses clinging to the cliffs on a hot summer day. With the wind in your hair, blowing past your face the cool breeze tickles you just like the track does. Different depths of synths reverberate in the background, coupled with the bassline for a powerful piece.
With the Anjunadeep Explorations Festival postponed until 2022, we’ll have to let this upcoming release tide us over. The event will make its mark on June 15th and June 22nd next year. Organizers have not been confident that travel will be safe this year and have made the difficult decision to move the dates. Ensuring that everyone can attend is their goal. It sounds like it’s going to be quite the journey, and not just the destination. Situated in Albania, you can take chartered boats from Corfu, Greece to Dhermi. This sounds like a summer vacation of greatness.
