Last Sunday, Tinlicker headed to Ocotillo Restaurant and Bar in Phoenix, Arizona for an open air experience. From 3pm-9pm, the Ocotillo terrace was transformed into an Anjuna-fam gathering, with art vendors, food, several bars, and of course, nonstop music all evening long.

Ocotillo’s terrace has become home to some of the most revered Anjuna artists, with past performances including Dusky, Jody Wisternoff, Grum, Oona Dahl, Blond:ish, David Hohme, Alex Cruz and Nox Vahn to name a few. San Francisco-based All Day All Night Events is known for their open air experiences, and together with local event company, Shangri-La Productions, they came together for a night to remember last weekend.

The show kicked off with performances by local talents Dru West and MyKill setting the tone of progressive and deep house vibes all evening long. Tinlicker hit the stage around 6pm, although only one member of the duo made it. That’s okay though, because he took us on a journey for the next three hours, playing fan favorites like ‘Because You Move Me,’ ‘Fractal,’ and their remix of ‘Need To Feel Loved,’ as well as more recent tracks like ‘Be Here and Now’ and their remix of Sian Evans’ ‘Hide U.’

Seeing Tinlicker live has been at the top of my bucket list for years, and when the day finally came, it did not disappoint. The open air, anjuna-esque setting was immaculate for my long-awaited Tinlicker experience.
