It has been three months since techno icon Carl Cox surprised the dance music scene by ending his annual summer residency at Space Ibiza after this upcoming summer to move on to greater pastures. Well, one of those greater pastures was curating his own event in Australia, Pure Music Festival. The festival will take place in April and will feature the best artists in techno and house music. There will be two legs two the festival (Sydney & Melbourne) and the shows will feature the likes of Joseph Capriati, Format:B, Bush Records boss man Eric Powell as well as Australian legend DJ HMC.
The likes of Murat Kilic and Mantra Collective will be supporting the Sydney leg and Scott Freedman and Mike Callander will support the Melbourne leg. Tickets for both legs will go on sale February 18th.
