The Brussels terrorist attacks are continuing to cause extra security concerns in Belgium. First the nation places a ban on bags in sporting venues. Then Tomorrowland considered increasing security measures for 2016. Now the “I Am Hardwell: United We Are Tour” cancels its Antwerp show. Allegedly, the Hardwell team felt that the environment was unsafe.
“The prevailing atmosphere surrounding the recent events in Brussels, we have decided that it is not the right time or place to host this event.” [translated]
People who already purchased tickets to the Antwerp show will be receiving full refunds. The “I Am Hardwell United We Are Tour” will conclude with a unannounced final show in Europe. Antwerp ticket holders will be given first notice of the date, location, and possibly tickets.
