Day three of Governor’s Ball has been cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions in New York City. The festival previously posted two messages alerting attendees of potentially unsafe conditions. The first one at 12:30AM EST read:
“At Gov Ball, our top priority is your well-being and the well-being of talent and staff. If weather conditions are deemed unsafe for the festival, Sunday’s show will be delayed or cancelled. We constantly monitor weather conditions, and we work closely with the appropriate City agencies, including NYC Parks, NYPD, and NYC Office of Emergency Management to determine the best and safest course of action.”
At 8:50 this morning, Governor’s Ball announced the initial delay. Just a few minutes ago, they announced the official cancellation of Day 3 of the festival.
