The time has arrived where a decade ends and a new one begins. In the last ten years, EDM has seen its golden years and it’s not so shinny periods. We have seen the rise of youngsters such as Martin Garrix grow in the scene to old-timers such as Tiësto cement themselves in the growing industry. We saw the incredible rise of Avicii, our artist of the decade, and the legacy he has left behind. Throughout the years we’ve seen trends such as dubstep, big room, future bass, progressive house, and techno rise and fall. Moreover, we have seen artists’ progression in their sound.
