Last year was a big year for Apple. And after pulling in $6 billion in sales from Airpods, it looks like they’re finally deciding to give back. Bloomberg is reporting that Apple is working on a smaller, cheaper iPhone that is set to launch in March.

The new model will be the first affordable iPhone since the iPhone SE. Apparently it will look similar to the iPhone 8 from 2017 and include a 4.7-inch screen. The iPhone 8 is still on the market, currently selling for $449, whereas Apple sold the iPhone SE for $399 when that handset launched in 2016.

A cheaper iPhone will certainly help Apple compete in the phone market. While the iPhone 11 Pro Max literally starts at $1,099, perhaps this new device will make for a more economical option for a broader base of iPhone users.
