After the 15-second Instagram previews and the tantalizing tweets, Calvin Harris has finally dropped his brand new single for 2014, “Summer.” Taking the “Feel So Close” route, Harris features his smooth vocals to croon about how when he met this girl in the Summer and how they fell in love when the leaves turned brown. It’s stating the obvious that this song is going to be a hit for the upcoming festival season, and it will also undoubtedly be the subject matter for a slew of remixes. Captaining Mr. Harris’ go-to new age progressive style, “Summer” is hopefully just the start from one of the scene’s main men with regards to production. This song isn’t available yet in the US, but you can still listen here and get excited for the wonderful part of the year that is Summer time.
