Whether you’re still mourning the knockout of Team USA or are rooting for another team as the quarter-finals continue tomorrow, the World Cup is in full swing and has everyone’s attention. Naturally, the perfect accompaniment to a worldwide sporting event that has everyone energized is great music. Following Diplo’s lead, Hardwell has released a special World Cup playlist on Spotify to serve as a soundtrack for the tournament. As the remaining teams vie to be crowned number one in the world, the world’s #1 DJ has fans and athletes alike covered with an array of electronic pump-up anthems. Hardwell’s mix includes related tracks like Clockwork’s “Champion” and JETFIRE & Happy Enemies’ “Brazil” as well as recent releases on Revealed Recordings like Marcus Schossow’s “The Universe.” Of course, Hardwell threw in a few of his own like his remix of Armin van Buuren’s “Ping Pong” and his edit of Deorro and J-Trick’s “Rambo.”
