Europe’s most successful techno & deep house music festival, Awakenings, will be heading to New York City next President’s Day Weekend. Next year will mark the nineteenth year of Awakenings’ existence as it has taken place in the Netherlands and in the UK. Awakenings Amsterdam usually takes place around the end of June for two days and also occurs in early February in Manchester, England in the Victoria Warehouse for nine hours of techno/deep house euphoria.
Awakenings recently hosted a stage at this year’s Electric Zoo: Transformed that had incredible talent from the likes of Drumcode boss Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, Alan Fitzpatrick, Paco Osuna, Get Real and many more. The inaugural Awakenings hasn’t revealed its lineup as of yet but from the names that have appeared at their Amsterdam and Manchester shows, you can expect nothing less than a star studded and diverse lineup.
