CMC$ & GRX – X’s (feat. Icona Pop)
Dance music’s favorite prodigy is back at it again and we couldn’t be happier. Whether he’s dropping straight House Music as YTRAM, dishing out those Future House vibes as Area 21, or bringing the heat as Martin Garrix, the Dutch superstar is shining bright and doesn’t seem to have any intention of cooling down.
Today we bring you a brand new track from Garrix, under his other alias, GRX. The track is together with CMC$, who you may remember from the track ‘In The Name of Love’. The Swedish Electro-Pop duo Icona Pop is also featured on the track. In this, they bring their internationally known vocals to the production.
If you’re a fan of ‘In The Name Of Love‘ this is the track for you. The features on ‘X’s’ have the same vocal-infused drop and bring back a familiar vibe. This makes perfect sense as Garrix is once again collaborating with CMC$ on this. The track is a nice pop ballad that you normally would have expected from Martin Garrix. In the past, GRX has typically released more Electro-heavy sounds. The best examples of this are ‘Boomerang’ with Brooks, ‘Can’t You See’, with Shermanology, and ‘Gamer’ with Bassjackers.
Whether you’re a fan of his pop, electro, or more progressive sounds, this is a track every Garrix fan can enjoy. ‘X’s’ is a radio-friendly hit that we expect to dominate the airwaves in time. The track has a run time of 3:43 and is definitely worth checking out. The release is out now and can be streamed below.
